As the figure heavy predictions come rolling in, innovators are seeking out ways to jump on the AI bandwagon and reap the rewards. But, they should take heed of the fact that there is no magic AI wand.
As we strive for progress, innovation, and efficiency, it becomes the responsibility of all of us involved in the AI industry to share insight and provide guidance to fledgling players just stepping into the ring. Artificial Intelligence projects are different. And while this seems like stating the obvious, there are a couple of key attributes that newcomers to the space need to be aware of.

Rainbird is an award winning cognitive reasoning platform, able to make predictions, recommendations or decisions by reasoning over a model of human knowledge in the face of available data.
This post gives an overview of the capabilities that differentiate Rainbird from other rules based engines.
During a three day hack-a-thon in April 2017, we experimented with integrating a range of Microsoft Cognitive Services with the Rainbird Platform. Using a demo Knowledge Map built in Rainbird, we used Microsoft Cognitive Services to produce bots in Skype and Slack.
