In brief:

Our Rainbird Consultants deliver best in class consultancy, training and project support to both clients and partners who work with the Rainbird platform.

We will teach you to become an absolute expert in using the Rainbird Platform, and you will then help partners and clients reach the same standard. You will work on live projects, communicate face-to-face as well as via videos and webinars. You will have a friendly personality and excellent communication and documentation skills.

About the role

A Rainbird Consultant sets the gold standard in building solutions on the Rainbird Platform.  Rainbird Consultants deliver a range of services to our clients and partners, from initial project build and support through to training and accreditation.

Key to this role is the ability to understand our client’s business and to work effectively with subject matter experts in a wide variety of domains.  Experience as a business analyst is a clear advantage.

As well as working directly in the Rainbird Platform on client projects, Rainbird Consultants deliver standup training to partners.  This training is developed in-house and supported by a range of eLearning and other collateral.  Training and support includes working both with new users of the platform, and training existing users in new features.

Working in close collaboration and building strong relationships with clients and partners is key to our model, and the role is client-facing.  Our consultants set an extremely high professional and personal standard and are comfortable working with individuals at every level of our clients business.

Rainbird Consultants are the gatekeepers of best practice in working with the Rainbird Platform. As the people working most closely with our clients and partners Rainbird Consultants have a key role in shaping new platform features being delivered by the development team.

Working with Rainbird suits a logical thinker.  You may enjoy solving logic puzzles or perhaps you have a skill for learning languages.  We don’t expect prior experience in knowledge engineering, but are looking for individuals with a passion for problems solving, a strong client focus and delivery ethic.

This role is based full time in our Norwich office, however the client facing nature means some travel nationally and internationally may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing client and partner subject matter and understanding how to translate it to Rainbird
  • Supporting clients and partners working in Rainbird
  • Working in Rainbird to build solutions for partners
  • Delivery of stand up training
  • Working with partners in writing proposals for their clients
  • Supporting the business in defining new requirements for the platform and UAT of new features
  • Building relationships with clients and proactively working to find new opportunities for Rainbird projects
  • Supporting training designers in building training materials for new features

Experience, qualifications and certificates

  • Experience in a business analysis role or have worked to understand and capture business requirements
  • Experience working in a customer relationship management role or other account management position could be beneficial
  • Ability to rapidly pick up new technical skills
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to guide individuals through complex subject matter
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a project, ideally in a client-facing role
  • Strong documentation and report writing skills, and experience contributing to proposals

We are looking for

  • Organisational skills with high attention to detail, analytical abilities and project management skills
  • Experienced in identifying, tracking, and managing project challenges and ensuring they are reported and resolved in a timely manner
  • Proven ability to be detail, deadline, and results-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and workflows
  • Customer-focused and able to determine and understand the business drivers behind projects
