Today, much is being made of the potential to eliminate workplace bias by using AI to detect statistical prejudices, levelling the playing field with its neutrality. Far less is being made, however, of the fact that for all its prejudice-slaying potential, AI can pick up its own biases along the way.

Rainbird and Microsoft Cognitive Services

During a three day hack-a-thon in April 2017, we experimented with integrating a range of Microsoft Cognitive Services with the Rainbird Platform. Using a demo Knowledge Map built in Rainbird, we used Microsoft Cognitive Services to produce bots in Skype and Slack.
