Rainbird is an artificial intelligence platform that can model human-like cognitive reasoning processes, and deploy them at scale.
It is one of a number of artificial intelligence technologies. It sits on O’Reilly’s Machine Intelligence Map and is rated by Business Insider as one of the most interesting AI technologies in the UK.
Rainbird was founded in 2013 by repeat tech entrepreneur turned Angel Investor James Duez and ex-Adobe AI Computer Scientist Ben Taylor who met in a successful previous AI-powered startup.
Rainbird already has a rapidly growing team of software engineers and consultants, and works with select partners to help large organisations solve some of their biggest problems. Rainbird is knowledge-agnostic but most projects are in financial services, banking, insurance and legal.
The Rainbird team are understandably tight-lipped about who many of their clients are, but as testament to their credibility they are the only AI company selected as a partner by MasterCard.
The business has been recognised by the EDP Future 50, the Everline Future 50, Techstars and Pitch10. Rainbird also won the Tech City Insider award for the East of England.
