The conference brings together more than 350 senior leaders from Europe’s financial institutions, three quarters of them at director level or above. This year’s agenda reflects where the industry conversation has moved: from whether to use AI to how to govern it, particularly as agentic systems begin to act rather than just assist.
That shift raises a question most institutions have not yet answered. When an AI agent needs to make or act on a regulated decision, a sanctions check, a lending decision, a claims determination, what makes that decision defensible? Probabilistic systems are good at language, retrieval and orchestration. They cannot guarantee the same answer to the same question twice, and they cannot show a regulator how a decision was reached.
Our 20-minute session in the Risk and Governance stream addresses this directly. We will show how institutions are representing regulation, policy and expert judgement as knowledge graphs, and using the Rainbird Reasoning Engine to make decisions deterministically. Every decision comes with an evidence tree: an inspectable record of the knowledge and evidence behind it. In agentic architectures, this is the Decision Layer, the point in the stack where agents delegate decisions to something that can be audited.
If you are attending and working in risk, compliance or operations, come and find the Rainbird team. We will be there across both days and are happy to arrange time in advance.

The conference is invitation only. If you would like to join us there, get in touch and we will see what we can do.
