Overview

The CAB brings together a small group of senior leaders from regulated industries to share insight and discuss how auditable, deterministic AI is being applied in high-stakes environments. This inaugural meeting is intended to set the tone for the forum and begin a structured, ongoing dialogue between peers and Rainbird’s leadership team.

What to Expect

The session is discussion-led and deliberately non-commercial.

Venue & Arrival

The meeting will take place at the Royal Horseguards Hotel, located at 2 Whitehall Court, London, SW1A 2EJ, overlooking the Thames and adjacent to Whitehall. The hotel is centrally located and easily accessible from across London.

The closest Underground station is Embankment, served by the Bakerloo, Circle, District, and Northern lines, and is a short walk from the hotel. Charing Cross station is also nearby for mainline rail services.

Arrival: Please plan to arrive from 1:30pm to allow time for registration and settling in ahead of the 2:00pm start.

Dining & Networking

Immediately following the meeting, attendees are invited to a private dining experience in the same room. This is intended as an informal continuation of the conversation in a relaxed setting.

James is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council.

Ben Taylor CTO

Ben Taylor

CTO, Co-Founder

Ben is a renowned authority in the field of artificial intelligence, boasting over 20 years of experience in Symbolic AI. Ben’s impressive career includes a stint as a computer scientist at Adobe and contributing to an award-winning AI insurtech business. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex, underscoring his deep expertise in the field. Ben is also a member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on AI.

Coenraad van der Poel

Chief Revenue Officer

Coenraad is a SaaS scale-up leader with over 30 years of experience building high-performing go-to-market organisations. He was the first US executive at UiPath, driving its rapid growth in Intelligent Automation, and has also held senior roles at Accenture, HP Enterprise Services, and EzGov. At Rainbird, he leads the global commercial strategy as the company expands into the US, strengthens its partner ecosystem, and scales enterprise adoption.
